The SGI-USA Youth - Behind the Scenes Groups (BSG)

Byakuren

“The mission of the Byakuren is to be pioneering practitioners, to protect fellow members who embrace the Gohonzon, and to safeguard our community centers—the strongholds of kosen-rufu. The members of the SGI are all noble children of the Buddha who embrace the Gohonzon, and magnificent Bodhisattvas of the Earth.

The community and culture centers of the SGI are fortresses where we, the Bodhisattvas of the Earth, gather to pure-heartedly seek Nichiren Daishonin’s Buddhism. It is natural that a Buddhist should wish to protect and support such citadels of Buddhism.”
