March 28 - Bayou City Art Festival Volunteer Day!
We started off the year’s Volunteer Activities by supporting the Bayou City Art Festival at Memorial Park on Saturday, March 28, 2009!
More than 20 SGI-USA Houston members and two guests volunteered together, welcoming patrons and taking entrance tickets at the festival gates.
The Bayou City Art Festival (BCAF) takes place twice a year — in the Spring at Memorial Park and in the Fall in downtown Houston. BCAF features top visual artists from across the country and all proceeds from the festival go to a variety of local arts organizations.
Each volunteer gets a cool t-shirt and free entrance into the festival!
